Leffingwell Named Board President of Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority

Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority (BCRUA) announced that Frank Leffingwell, Round Rock City Councilmember and well-known tax attorney, will be board president of the BCRUA.

The BCRUA, a partnership of the cities of Cedar Park, Leander, and Round Rock, has a responsibility to provide reliable, cost-effective sources of water for their fast growing jurisdictions.

“We are pleased to have Councilmember Leffingwell in this role,” Tom Gallier, BCRUA General Manager, said. “Frank sees great value in regional partnerships. His regional knowledge, problem-solving skills, and steady hand will be extremely valuable to this organization.”

As president of BCRUA, Leffingwell will be responsible for carrying out the BCRUA’s role in establishing a regional water supply solution that provides a solid foundation for local businesses and the well-being of residents in all surrounding communities.

Leffingwell is owner of Round Rock-based law firm Frank Leffingwell & Associates, PC. He is a tax attorney focused on business transactions, estate planning, and asset protection, with particular emphasis in the representation of closely-held and family businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Leffingwell also represents developers and investors in commercial real estate transactions. He has extensive experience in partnership taxation and is currently pursuing an executive LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
